JUNGGAR BASIN, China – On September 15, Great Group achieved a significant milestone at the Mazhong-4 Well Area in the Baikouquan Oilfield, Junggar Basin. The Φ311.2mm Hybrid Drill Bit, independently developed by Great Group, delivered exceptional performance in the second-opening buildup section of the MZHW4006 horizontal well, significantly boosting drilling efficiency.

Technical Implementation and Performance Data

The operation was conducted by the KEZUAN 70203 Drilling Team. The drilling assembly utilized a high-performance configuration:

• Bit Type: Φ311.2mm Hybrid Drill Bit

• Downhole Tool: Φ216mm PDM (Positive Displacement Motor / Mud Motor)

• Configuration: 1.5°/308mm Stabilizer

Key Operational Results in the Badaowan Formation (2965m - 3183m):

• Total Footage: 218 meters

• Pure Drilling Time: 86.67 hours

• Rate of Penetration (ROP): 2.52 m/h
